Flip Flap Album Class

Hi there! Hope you are enjoying your summer! We finally have some warm weather here and it looks like it will stick around for awhile. About time!!

I've been working on this cute little Flip Flap Album, which I will be offering as a class next month. I used the retired Hostess Scrappin' Pack for the Designer paper in this Flip Album, but will be using current designer paper in my class. This album is my template! :-)

It was alot of fun to make and I could see myself making plenty of these for Christmas gifts, especially for those who really enjoy a recap of what our family has been up to the past year. You know, Grandmas and Aunties who love to know what your kids have been doing and enjoy receiving pictures, but truly just don't have any more wall space for those framed prints!! :-) I haven't added pics or embellishments yet, that's on the agenda (hopefully!) for today and tomorrow.
We are redoing our backyard, so quite often I'm required to assist my DH in the bricks, rocks and rearrangement of plants instead of spending my time stamping, outside at my table, where I rightfully belong. :-)
Hope you enjoy your day today,
Debbie

Thoughts of You!

Good Morning Blogger Friends! Today I have another card that was created at our Dar's Team meeting. It uses the Thoughts & Prayers Stamp set. This is such a versatile set, I would really recommend it. We've also made use of the Parisian Specialty Designer paper, remember its doubled sided & textured. Ah, pure joy!! I am such a Designer Paper Junkie! Gotta have it all. I do use it though, and have gotten over hoarding it. :-)
This card also uses Kraft & Chocolate Chip cardstock and the Eyelet border punch , another must have in my books. They really add to the card. Throw a punched circle on there with a brad on it and you have a quick & easy card that's just waiting for a sentiment. Over the last few years I've found its great to have a few cards in my stash that have no sentiment on them, so easy to pick the right words, stamp and the card is ready to mail.
Hope you have a great day!
Debbie

Friends 24-7!!

Hi there Blogger Friends! Thankfully its sunny & warm today, such a difference from yesterday. We certainly had alot of snow yesterday, its amazing how 24 hours can change the weather so dramatically! :-)
This upload is a cute card that we recently completed at our Dar's Team meeting. Although I wasn't able to attend, my wondeful cousin actually made some of the samples up for me and brought them over!! Thanks Karen, I really didn't expect that!
This creation uses the newest cardstock Parisian Breeze Specialty Paper, as well as Kraft & Baja Breeze. The specialty paper is a doublesided designer paper with texture! Absolutely gorgeous. For you designer paper junkies, its a must have! :-) This card also uses the stamp set Friends 24-7. This has been on my wish list since the first day I saw the catalogue. I really love this little bird. And he's a friendly bird too Heidi!! :-) As well, check out the designer hardware in vanilla, isn't it striking? Both the silver & vanilla hardware are so modern and clean looking.
Hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
