A Little Late Easter Bunny

Hi there! I realized just this morning that I hadn't uploaded this Easter card! Somehow it was neglected   andnever made it to my computer. The spring colours on this card are ever so beautiful today, seeing as how we've had a short blast of Winter blow back into our area. I don't mind seeing the white stuff this time of year, because you know it will disappear soon but I sure don't like the 90km an hour winds!

I did all my laundry and housework yesterday so today I'll throw something yummy in the crock pot and hide away in my craft room all day :-) The weather is great in there!
Now, you probably didn't come here to listen to me blather on about the weather so here's the details on the card!!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Bunny (Inkadinkado?) Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Orchid Opulence, Pretty In Pink, DSP from the Occasions Mini Shades of Spring
Ink: Basic Grey, Pretty in Pink for ear
Accessories: half back pearls from my stash, sewing machine, nesties, orchid coloured ribbon from my stash, oval punches

Thanks for dropping by and to my readers from this area, hope you stay warm today and don't blow away in the wind!! I'll see you tomorrow at the meeting!! :)

More Early Easter Greetings

Hi there Friends! Today I have another Easter greeting card to share. This one uses the same Inkadinkado image as yesterday's card share. I coloured it with the Watercolour Wonder Crayons ~ I love doing this in front of the tv, especially now that the Olympics are on!  The base of the cards is white, and I've added Chocolate Chip as a mat.   The Teeny Tiny Wishes Sentiment was stamped on watercolour paper and punched out with the smallest oval.  I used C. Chip and So Saffron to punch the two larger ovals for matting.  The image was also stamped and coloured on watercolour paper.  The designer paper is from Pawsitively Prints, which can be found in both the retired Holiday mini and the current Occasions mini.  Accessories are half back tiny pearls, from my stash of "stuff", along with the oval punches, a Martha Stewart border punch, the SU! Mat pack, two way glue pen and dazzling diamonds.
Thanks so much for dropping by and hope you have a wonderful Saturday.

Early Easter Greetings

Hi there! I'm starting early on my Easter cards this year because I have to admit I totally dropped the ball on Valentine's day cards and didn't do as many as I should have!! So, here's my head start on Easter cards, hopefully I'll have them finished by the end of the week, ready to mail when the time arrives.

This card uses a base of Almost Amethyst cardstock along with Basic Black, Watercolour paper & Tea Party Designer Paper. The accessories are Certainly Celery ribbon, Watercolour Wonder Crayons, Black StazOn, paintbrushes, two way glue pen, dazzling diamonds and some half back pearls from my stash.  The image is an Inkadinado I believe, one I bought several years ago. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, which was punched out with the smaller of the three oval punches.
Thanks for dropping by and have a great evening!

Fun Card!!

Hi there Blogger Friends! I was at my cousin Karen's today and we made this super cute card! To create the rabbit we used all stamps from the SU set Pick a Petal. The "ears" are actually the petals (I'm sure you guessed that!). Karen has a whole book on the endless possibilities of this stamp set, and very few of them are actually flower cards. Check out the gallery at SCS for yourself, you'll be surprised at this stamp set's versatility.

Easter Greetings!

Hi there Blogger Friends! I have another Easter Greeting to share with you today. This stamp set is from last year's SU! hostess selections, Serene Spring, still one of my all time favourites. Just love that bunny!!! The designer paper is the retired Spring Fling from last season's Idea Book. I really love this paper, but alas, my stash is almost depleted. Guess I'll have to buy some new designer paper to substitute for it! :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cute Bunnies!!

Hi there Blogger Friends! Its still cold here today, but at least the sun is shining. I'd take sun and cold over dreary and warm any day I'm afraid! Unless I'm somewhere like Florida or Cuba.... :-)

This cute little card was created with a Magenta stamp set I was given by a friend recently. She knows I've been searching for a cute bunny set and thought this one fit the bill. I think she's right!!

I've used Pink Passion as the background matt along with Whisper White and Black cardstock. The flower in the centre of the card is from the Pretties kit, I just coloured it in with a marker and voila!! matching flowers. Gotta love that!! I also used the paper piercing tool along the pink border, although its hard to see in this photo.

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Serene Spring :-)

Hi Blogger Friends! We seemed to dodge the snow yesterday, thank goodness! And today its beautiful, melting & starting to smell like spring out there, but I'm certainly not holding my breath on that one! :-)

I've used last years Hostess Set "Serene Spring" on this card creation. I really enjoy watercolouring the imgages in this set, and hope to post a card soon using the little bunny. I don't usually send alot of Easter cards but I think I will this year. My Aunt, who is 70, just loves to receive cards from us and is always surprised someone remembered her. That, in itself, should be enough to keep me sending cards to friends & family like her. :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Another Easter Chick!

Hi there Blogger Friends! Another quick post here as I'm heading out very soon. The weather has not been feeling like spring at all! Although its warmer they're predicting snow yet again. :-( So I thought I'd pretend that Spring is around the corner and create another Easter card with the cute chicky from A Good Egg. I'm so happy I bought this set last year, I really like it! Its very versatile and super easy to colour or paper piece. And again I used the retired designer paper from last season, yes going into my stash and finally using it instead of hoarding. :-)
Have a great afternoon and thanks for stopping by!

Easter Chick!

Hello Blogger Friends! I spent some time today colouring in some Easter Chicks from the SU! set "A Good Egg". Such a cute little chicky! I used some of last year's designer series paper (yes, that I've hoarded for whole year!) and this year's In Colour, Pink Pirouette. I thought I might try and get a head start on some Easter cards and this little chicky really doesn't take alot of effort. Inside the card I adhered a 4 inch by 5 1/2 inch piece of Whisper White topped with a border of pink designer paper that has been punched with the Eyelet border punch. It finishes off the inside of your card so nicely.
Hope you have had a great day and take care!
