Another Scrapbooking Project

Good Morning Friends!! Here's a cute layout that's very similar to the one I posted last week. This time I used the retired SU! Designer Series Paper Spring Flowers. I had quite a bit of this paper left over and knew that someday I would become a scrapbooker, so I saved it for just this purpose. I have some sepia toned photos that will be placed in the mats, and the journalling will be in the top left corner, just under the bow. I've used the new SU! stamp set Petal Pizzaz for the flowers in this creation. The large flowers were embossed to give more stability and weight to them, they look fabulous on the page. I also added some buttons that I picked up last week during a recent shopping trip. The ribbon is SU! Very Vanilla, one of my favourites. Its almost got a soft yellow tint to it, so very warm and soft.

For some reason, I'm not getting really clear pics on my scrapbooking pages, but bear with me, I'll keep working on it until they are a little more crisp.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great morning!! :-)

Bitten by the Scrapbooking Bug!

Good Morning Blogger Friends! I wanted to share a recent scrapbooking page I created. I just love this particular layout and think the colours look great with black & white photos. This is our Pup, Sophie. I've used mostly SU! products on this page, the exception being the "Spoiled" heart, which I picked up at a LSS this past winter, and the grey ribbon. The grey satin ribbon was part of the packaging on something we purchased lately (I can't even remember what it was!) However, as I untied it, I thought how fabulous to add to my stash of ribbons. :-)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Scrap Page!

Hi there Blogger Friends!!! This is a picture of a scrap page that my Good Friend Beth & I worked on. Isn't it colourful?? I really liked this layout, it was fun and easy to do. I am afraid I've been bitten by the scrapbooking bug. My poor husband, if he only knew.....I really do need more supplies you know!! Also, I do apologize for the awful picture of this; its not very clear, but for some reason I couldn't get the image as crisp as I'd wanted.
Beth, as you can see, I did mess up on the layout. Its not as its "supposed" to be. And I have a hard time leaving things alone too. Its so weird because when I make cards they are usually more simple and I don't "doll" them up a whole lot. But geeze, give me a scrapbook page and I'm clamouring to get as many embellishments on there as I can. Or so it seems to me, anyways!
I still might add 3 more photo corners to the bottom right photo mat, I'll see once the photos are added. Of course, there might be room for another button somewhere on there too! haha The top left page leaves room for the title, I'll have to get busy and make one up once I choose all my photos. I have some great pics from last summer of my kids and the dog in a little tiny pool (yeah, we did buy it just to soak our feet in it, but really, it was so we could watch the dog splash about in it, I know, I know, we are kind of lame...!! haha)
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
