Sympathy Card

Good Morning! Well, more shovelling yesterday and a bit to do today, I'm sure the snow will soon be finished...? :)

Today I have a sympathy card to share. This is a card I should really make more of to have in my stash as its always hard to make one when you need it most.

This card uses the Razzleberry Lemonade dsp, along with Basic Grey ribbon and cardstock, the Scalloped Circle big die, pearls from my stash and the stamp set Fifth Avenue Floral. The sentiment is from an old hostess set, Warm Wishes (I think).  I used the reinker technique to colour in the rose, after it had been embossed on white on watercolour paper.

Thank you for dropping by and enjoy your Sunday:) I'm going to settle in to my crafting room today with a pot of tea (which will be under the beautiful tea cosy Beth made me!) and do some stamping.  Stay warm and dry and whatever you do, don't hurt your back with all that shovelling....or in your case Melody, don't get a sunburn in warm and wonderful Mexico :)

This is absolutely beautiful! Wonderful combination of colors! We have 40' and pouring rain! Thank the good Lord you don't have to shovel rain!

Oh my word, you are one of those people who has mastered this technique. No matter what I do, I just can't make it work. Your card is beautiful.

Are you walking through tunnels of snow like we are - in Fort Saskatchewan. Hopefully it will stop snowing sometime this week!!!! Stay warm.
