Swap Card Fifth Avenue Floral

Hi there!! Today I have my swap card to share with you. This is a total CASE from Dawn Griffith's card found here.  My colours are a little brighter than hers as she used Kiwi Kiss, I used Only Olive as I needed to have all current product on my card.

This card was created using the Crayon Resist technqiue and Dawn has a video tutorial to show you how, just click on the above link.  I used Basic Grey, Black, Glossy White cardstocks, Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp set, Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp set, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, Basic Grey and Black Inks and the Two Way glue pen along with some Dazzling Diamonds.  The crayon resist was done with a Crayola white crayon. Be sure to sharpen yours if you try this as a dull crayon is too thick for this line drawing.

Thanks for dropping by and have a Fab Friday!!! :-)

School Days!

Hi there Blogger Friends! I've posted a swap card I received from my wonderful cousin Linda. Isn't it cute? She's just used simple foolscap paper for this background. (Isn't that a weird word, "foolscap"? I actually had to google it for spelling as it just didn't seem right!!)
The side was punched with the Spiral punch to give the background paper some interest & texture. To get the red colour on this black background, she's used chalk on the apples, after they were stamped with versamark. The apples are from Tart & Tangy set. To finish it off, she used black gingham ribbon on the top corner, still one of my favourite ribbons in the catalogue.

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
