Good Morning! Today's card creation takes its inspiration from the Sweet Sunday Sketch, as found in the post below. I absolutely love the new SU! satin ribbon, especially in this gorgeous vanilla colour!! I enjoy mixing White & Vanilla together in cards, I think its unexpected and can be quite elegant. I especially like mixing white & vanilla with bordering blue and silver for Christmas cards, so different and very pretty.
I'm not sure I want to keep the punched leaves on there, what do you think?
I'll list the Recipe below.
Thanks for dropping by and have a Terrific Tuesday :-)
Recipe:
Fifth Avenue Floral
Chocolate Chip, Bella Birds dsp, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette
Black StazOn, Bordering Blue and Brocade Blue to paint flower, a bit of Pink Pirouette, So Saffron

Sketch Challenge #225
Good Morning Blogger Friends! Another cool day in Alberta today, I sure wish Spring would linger just a little longer ~ one day this week just wasn't enough!!
When I took the doggies out this morning, it was glorious! The sun shone so bright and there was a skiff of snow that was just twinkling in the light, and the air smelled fresh. Now, well I think the sun went for coffee or something...DD has a PD day so we are off to the city, but I managed to get some stamping time in this morning!! yaaah :-
I've made this card for the Sketch Challenge on SCS, I really like the layout of the sketch, simple yet striking. Here is the link: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433416
I used my new nesties as well, perfect with the Bloomin' Beautiful set. Although, I think anything goes well with Bloomin' Beautiful!
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Bloomin' Beautiful, Cute Converse (very old bonus set from SU!)
Cardstock: Choco Chip, Whisper White, Parisian Breeze (hurry home Mel, or I'll be using your package too! haha)
Ink: Baja Blue, Black StazOn
Accessories: Choco Chip grosgrain, Horizontal punch, nesties, half back pearls, mat pack & piercing tool
Have a great day and hope you get some stamping time in!!

Hi there Blogger Friends! I squeezed in some time yesterday to participate in the Colour & Sketch Challenges on SCS. These colours are great together; however, I would have preferred a colour challenge with more spring like colours. These are perfect for a male birthday or Autumn card though.
This card was quick and easy, making full use of : designer paper, embossing folder & white daisy flowers. I found the center of this flower in my "stash" and thought it matched the Summer Sun cardstock very well.
Recipe:
Stamp Set: True Friend
Ink: Black StazOn
Cardstock: Kraft, Black, Summer Sun and Red Riding hood (designer paper Bella Rose)
Embellishments: Slit punch (for ribbon), Corner Ticket Punch, Black Polka Dotted Ribbon and Flower centre from my stash of collectibles!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I used a stamp set I acquired some time ago along with SU! retired stamp set Ageless Adornment (which I think ALL of my customers own!) as well retired designer paper Parisian Summer. This is the first time I've used the Parisian Summer dsp and I just love it. Burgundy is not a colour I use often so I very much enjoyed pulling out (and dusting off!!) this combination of colours for my card. :-)
Thanks for looking and I hope you have a great day!
Debbie
