Masculine Bermuda Bay Combo

Hi there! We've been busy outdoors today, it actually feels like Spring is on its way!! We took the doggies for a long walk;  they thoroughly enjoyed investigating the neighbourhood and we certainly enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather.  They are calling for some of the *white stuff* on Monday, but I think I'll live in the moment and enjoy these few warm days for now!! :-)

Today's share is a direct case from the latest Paper Creations magazine, artist is Jen Del Muro. I just love this particular magazine, it never fails to inspire me with great layouts, sketches and colour combos.

This card features Black, White, Basic Grey, Textured Bermuda Bay cardstocks, and the Night & Day Designer paper from the Holiday Mini. The sentiment is an oldie SU! hostess set called Warmest Regards.

The star and circles were die cut with the Big Shot and did you notice how shiny the star is? I recently purchased a roll of a metallic tin.  Its not a cardstock nor is it really a heavy tin,  its more like what pop cans are made from, same weight.   I used an embossing folder on it and  love how it turned out!!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and can find some time for crafting in there!! :-)

Thanks for dropping by!
Deb

What an incredibly cool card - I love the addition of that herringbone paper - I never know what to do with that design. It looks fantastic here. I also like the bold "outline" for the star and circle!!! Great shiny central star too!!!!!
