Hi there! I participated in the SCS challenge today!! Its number WT226, and we were to use a Christmas image of some type.
I also participated in the Winter Wonderland challenge, see side bar for link. What a wonderful website!!! I was inspired by Debbie's two cards, found on Coastal Creations, see side bar for her link. (my computer will NOT let me link this on a post for some reason....).
The card was stamped with the image from SU!'s Home For Christmas stamp set, from last Holiday Mini. Wow, was I happy to see this hit the new Idea Book and Catty!! I really enjoy using this set. The little punched circle is from the Hostess Set Perfect Presentation for last year.
This image was stamped in versamark, embossed with black and then coloured in with various colours from the SU! marker set. I used a Vanilla Reinker to colour in the snow, I though it looked really cool!! I'm also going to try using bleach on this image and see how that works!!
The border punch is something I found at a scrapbook store while on holidays last year, and the ribbon is a Michael's find, when they were clearing them out in the Fall, I think it was 70% off!! gotta love a deal like that!~! The Ticket Corner punch was used on the sides, and Vanilla Brads from the Hodgepodge Hardware adorn the corners. Melody.....get out that hodgepodge and start using it!! :-) heehee you know its there, just waiting to jump out of the box....
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Debbie
