Good Day! Wow, we are really having a heat wave here, but I certainly won't complain! We've had such a cool Spring and start to Summer, this is wonderful!! Sunny days and clear skies, and HEAT!! Its supposed to be 31 degrees here today. :-)
And in the midst of all this heat, I've created a nice, cool Christmas card!! I really want to get a start on my Holiday card making and this card was quick, easy and uses designer series paper, which in my opinion, really speeds up the cardmaking process. Especially when you have 30 or more cards to make!! I've been busy all week coming up with Christmas card ideas as I'm holding my annual Christmas in August in a few weeks. This card is not one of the cards we will be making, I will post those after the class as I would like to keep those cards a surprise to the ladies who I know read this blog!! :-)
This card uses a White card base, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky, Bashful Blue DSP. The Accessories used were Oliv-y Green ribbon from my stash, White ribbon from my stash, Brown StazOn ink, Scalloped Snowflake Border Punch, Piercing Tool, and Heidi Swapp Ghost Snowflake, which I've included a close up of. Edited to Add: I used Bashful Blue for the Snowflake Scallop, but for some reason it looks like Soft Sky in the photo...
Again, I loved how easy this card was to make and lets the designer paper and embellishments speak for themselves. An easy card to do in batches!!
Thanks for stopping by,
